Keplerova 10 Residence is a luxury house, a reconstruction with a partial alteration of a tenement house of the late 19th century, located in the aristocratic part of old Prague - Hradcany. From here to Prague Castle - ten minutes on foot through the beautiful old streets that served as scenery for more than one historical film.
The architects and designers who worked on this project took into account two important features: they preserved the appearance of the building, which it was almost 150 years old; and made the necessary changes to the internal layout in order to achieve maximum comfort for future residents. Firstly, due to the demolition of some partitions, the rooms were expanded, high (more than 3 meters) ceilings further increase the space. Secondly, all communication systems, including electrics, are completely updated. Thirdly, the extensive crypts in the basement were turned into an underground parking. Fourth, balconies and an elevator shaft were added to the side of the house that faces the patio. Much attention was paid to the porch and the main staircase - in the restored form they again became a work of art.
There are only two two-room apartments in this residence - on the first and second floors. Their area is 62-71 m2. The apartments are very beautiful and comfortable: a spacious hall (7-8 m2), from the hall - in one apartment there is an entrance to the washing room, in the second - to the dressing room, a good bathroom (in the apartment on the ground floor - 7 m2 with a window overlooking the inside courtyard), living room with two windows (23-25 m2), bedroom (15 m2) with access to the terrace (15 m). The house has additional pantries in the basement. They and a parking space in the garage can be purchased.
The decoration of the apartments was provided for by designers as a mixture of details of the original style of the house and modern style. Clients, however, may, within the framework of planned customer changes, ask them to complete their apartment in the style of the late 19th century. Of the details preserved by designers in all apartments, it is worth noting replicas of double wooden windows, the inside of them with double-glazed windows, and the entrance doors to the apartment are also exact copies of old double-wing doors, made however taking into account all modern requirements (fire safety, thermal conductivity reliability). The floors in the apartments are solid oak, treated with mastic, in the fully equipped bathroom there are underfloor heating, stylistically finely selected tiles and sanitary ware.
You can read about the area where this beautiful house is located in any guidebook - this is the very heart of the historical part of Prague, Hradcany. Here, in upper Prague, from its very foundation only aristocratic families settled. This was explained by the proximity of the royal residence - the Castle, and the fact that the left bank of the Vltava River was never flooded, and that here, above, there was always clean air. In today's Prague, you can safely settle in the historical and central areas - the city's infrastructure is designed for each of its residents. And here, too, within walking distance there are shops, and medical facilities, and schools, and gymnasiums. You don’t have to go far for entertainment - there are several theaters, Hradcansky palaces and parks, clubs and discos, restaurants and sports facilities nearby.
