The First Hotels With a Medical Seal Will Open in Portugal in Summer

According to a report by Diário Imobiliário, the president of the Portuguese Hotel Association (AHP) Raul Martins announced that the government will allow many hotels to reopen in July after a difficult period of COVID-19. This news came after hoteliers met in Lisbon with Prime Minister Antonio Costa.

Mr Martins said the hospitality industry and the tourism sector in Portugal will work with the Ministry of Health to develop health safety protocols, which will be presented in the form of a health-oriented seal of approval for hotels.

These measures will be aimed at ensuring the safety of visitors when creating standardized methods and requirements for cleaning and disinfection.
