Quick sales for property in Dubai

Finding a buyer for a resale home in Dubai does not take long, according to Sultan Butti bin Mijrin, director-general of the Dubai Land and Properties Department.

He explained to the Khaleej Times that property is being bought in as little as 15 days.
"It will not take more than a month to find a buyer for a property put on the market in Dubai,” he said.

The process of completing a transaction is also faster.

This means registration can now be completed in one day, as opposed to the previous six.
Recently published data shows that the amount of real estate deals did not fall during Ramadan, which is usually a slow period for the market.

Dubai Land Department figures showed that in the Marina area alone, 203 properties were registered during August.

Emirates 24/7 reported that 189 units in the Burj Khalifa were also sold last month.
