On the English page of Russian property portal 1-property.ru they asked Overseas Developers and Estate Agents currently marketing their projects to Russian investors,
Does any of your staff speak Russian?

A staggering 52% admitted they did not have any personnel that could speak Russian, and a further 9% were considering employing a Russian speaking member of staff. One wonders why companies do not first make sure they have the tools and staff in place first, before entering the lucrative but complicated market of selling real estate to Russians!!!
