US home price recovery continues
Recently published data from the National Association of Realtors shows that the recovery of the USA real estate markets gathered pace over the last twelve months. House prices continued to appreciate during the final quarter of last year in most regions. Annual price growth on residential properties was the strongest during 2012 for several years. Fourth quarter results show the majority of metropolitan statistical areas (133 out of a total of 152) posted higher average house prices during the period, sale prices slipped in just 19 areas. USA real estate experts agree that affordability conditions are improving resulting in an upswing for sales of homes in a selection of price brackets. American mortgage rates are extremely favourable at near record lows and unsold inventory is said to be at the lowest level in more than a decade. Recovery is expected to improve further in the months ahead as confidence returns to the home buying public. Real estate officials are confident that conditions exist for sustainable growth in sales and prices during 2013.http://www.propertyworld.com/Property-News/US-home-price-recovery-continues-3531
