Afra is a beautiful village, relatively close to Corfu town and built along the top of a gentle hill above the Livadi Ropa. Stone bridges, old ruins of mansions, dominated by the mansion of Kourkoumeli, now abandoned, give the atmosphere of the life of the 17th and 18th century lords who lived in the area.

Afra is surrounded by a lush green environment and has the advantage of being built in the center of the mainland, with access to the beaches of both the west and east coast: Glyfada and Kontogialos on one side, Dassia and Ipsos on the other. All are a few kilometres from Afra.

The land is flat and leads to a water stream flow almost all year around, although the plot is close to the road it has no urban noise.
