The house water is all taken from rain stored in tanks.  There are seven 5000 litre tanks, four of which are for house use, two for plants and one to top up the swimming pool.
The swimming pool is about 2.5m x 5m, great to cool down in on a hot day and very easy to look after.  It is fitted with a low energy pump and the filter is a low water wastage "Dyson" style unit from the UK, while next to the pool is a small covered patio.
