Regeneration plans for Runcorn include an additional £ 2.3 million in capital funding. The Halton Borough Council Executive Board gave the green light to a deal for Neptune Developments Ltd to clean up an abandoned section of the Crosville department and set up a pub with a restaurant, café and parking lot, which aimed to attract passing expressways and bridges. A proposal was approved to allow the creation of a planning application for the construction of houses on the field along the Picow Farm Road and on the terrain on Murdischau Boulevard, which will be put up for sale to begin the construction of a grocery store, coffee shops with drive-through systems (auto distribution) and a family pub with the restaurant. One of the goals of creating parking spaces in Crosville was to begin building houses on the site of the existing Brindley parking lot. It is hoped that events will accelerate the “time spent” by visitors in this area, in particular among Brindley participants, and increase the image of Runcorn as a “destination” .
